Dumb Dumber Dubya: Dumber Than A Quayle: Our Idiot President

Political Ranting/Raving Re: The Current Bush Administration

Stickers 4 Sale: 'Dumb Dumber Dubya!' & 'Ronald Dumbsfeld for President - 2007!'

BUY MY NINE-INCH SNAILS! ... SUCKERS! {Precious Roy, Precious Roy, Makin' Lots Of Suckers Out Of Girls And Boys! (my apologies to SIFL & OLLY)}

This Is Just Another 'Dumb Dumber Dubya' Website. (Although it could be the first one, possibly the original?) No worries! All is fair in love and war, and this ain't love, so it must be war!
I first coined the phrase: 'Dumb, Dumber, Dubya' in January 2001. I printed stickers a couple of months later (the first printing did not include a link to my website, or a copyright symbol.) I sold these stickers locally (in Seattle) at 'Left Bank Books', and 'Joe Bar'. I gave many away to my friends and acquaintances. The next screen-printing of these 'Dumb, Dumber, Dubya' stickers, was in May, 2003 (the 2nd printing included links to my website, copyright symbols, and coincided with the publishing of my website.) I registered my website: 'DumbDumberDubya.com' at 'Cheap-DomainRegistration.com' on 5/28/2003; I set my name-servers to 'Speakeasy.net' on 5/28/2003.

I believe that I was the first to coin the phrase Dumb, Dumber, Dubya, at least, in the Seattle area. It's possible that someone else coined the phrase about the same time. That is entirely possible (given the inherent nature of the multi-verse.)

12/27/06:

Karl Rove: Demoted?

There was an incident a couple weeks ago, where it seemed that Karl Rove was not quite up to par in his advisory role. Was he demoted to a lesser position? Only time will tell.
There was a faux-pas at the Kennedy Center; A holiday celebration went awry; Apparently there were three other women wearing the same dress as Laura Bush. Not good! But Laura was able to change into another gown (not so for the other three women, as only conjecture would have it.)
Is Karl losing his touch? Has he really been demoted to such trivialities? One can only hope so!

11/11/06:

Dem Damn Dems In Power:

All we can hope for, since power is now passed on to the Democrats, is that they will not abuse that power. I would like to believe that the Dems will do the right thing; It would be futile to stymie the system with impeachment. Although that seems the logical course, it would not advance our nation in any positive way. Sure, payback's a bitch, but what about progress?

The impeachment of Clinton did nothing but slow the course of government. Imagine how much might have been accomplished if this trivial display of power had not been played!
So, what?

Move out of Iraq: (stop the killing of civilians, and Americans; Enough is enough;) Let them solve their civil-war (with our troops at a safe distance.)

Return our focus to the REAL war on terror: Go back to Afghanistan! Finish what we started. Find the original culprits!

There is so much more we can do!

We, The People? Where are the people? I know that We, The People haven't really been representing our true status as The People for several centuries. Huge Corporations have assumed, and siezed control of the role that was once, allegedly, the domain of The People. In theory, We once had full control of the political process. At least, that's what the Preamble of the Constitution suggested. In fact, it is much more complicated: i.e. Only White, Male, Property owners were allowed to vote.
Much has changed. Today, we want inclusion. We want more than those who have power. We expect that all will be included in politics: ALL people; Persons of Color, White, Female, Male, Poor, Wealthy: Everybody!
But this 'future-that-is-now', seems to prefer the wealthy over the poor; The little people don't really seem to matter much, in the big picture.
we, me, you, us: the common people don't really count. we have no voice, no strength, no purpose, no cummulative direction. The Corporation is the New We.
How can we, the little people, regain the We in The People? It may take a cataclysmic wake, to shake up all of the little wes, out of our catharses and enable us to fight for the right to be We The People again.

Ronald Dumbsfeld In The News:
A Network Newscaster recently reported on a story about Donald Rumsfeld. He stumbled over the name: He started to say 'Ronald...', but quickly corrected himself with 'Donald Rumsfeld'. I hope that it was just a Freudian slip, a Faux-pas. But it made me laugh (LOL? ROTFL?) He almost said: 'Ronald Dumbsfeld'. That was a brilliant slip-of-the-tongue. This was the inspiration for my latest sticker: 'Ronald Dumbsfeld for President - 2007'.
Somebody browsing my site, told me about a morning news announcer, in the Boston area, making regular references re: 'The blood-thirsty Secretary of War' & 'Ronald Dumbsfeld'. I recently searched the web, and found many sites using that same moniker. I'm certain that I wasn't the only one watching Network News that night. Many other people were similarly inspired.
I think we should Impeach Donald Rumsfeld! Or, at least, he should resign. The plan for war in Iraq; Abu Ghraib; And now, Haditha. How many more mistakes can the man make before 'Dubya' knight's him: Sir Ronald Dumbsfeld?

RANTING & RAVING: My Current Political Ranting & Raving

A Rove-ing: (adapted from Celtic Traditional: 'So We'll Go No More A-Roving'
"A Rove-ing,
A Rove-ing,
Since Rove-ing's been my RU-I-N,
I'll go no more a Rove-ing with you...

This is The House That We Built!

These are the Rights
That lay in The House That We Built

This is the rot
That ate of the Rights
That lay in The House That We Built

This is the Karl
That brought the rot
That ate of the Rights
That lay in The House That We Built

This is Dumb Dubya
That brought the Rove
That hurried the rot
That ate of the Rights
That lay in The House That We Built

This is the war, the Horrible War
That brought Dumber Dubya to Rove out Ms. Plame
That caused the Karl to deny it all
That hurried the rot
That killed more of our Rights
That lay in The House That We Built

This is Katrina with all of Her waves
That broke through the levees and flooded Gulf states
That was handled quite badly By the Brown of the Horses
Who was politically appointed by friends in high places;
But She killed many thousands of the poorest of people
And belittled Bush's FEMA and the Homeland Security
That lay in The House That We Built

This is the Dubya with his admin most torn
That missed on Katrina and the Gulf of the storm
And they still milked the money of those distraught
And they tossed all discrepancy into the wind
That they lied to the people and never explained
That they brought the deficit to our grand-kids
That they ate of the wealth of the oil and ourselves
That has mostly destroyed, The House That We Built

These are the people all ready to mourn, whose investments and benefits are mostly no more
That the GOP have shaved off and shorn
That missed on Katrina and now thousands are gone
'Cause the money was spent on thousands of bombs
On a war created on many a lie
And a war of errors on weapons not found
That brought the fear of terror unsound
That disabled the New Deal, and dismantled our health
That mostly destroyed, The House That We Built

This is the Dick that was fishing for Bass
That was searching for waterfront property, alas
And then was confronted with: "Go F-yourself"
And he couldn't believe it 'cause he was hiding his ass
And the polls were slip-sliding down into the base
That might make their supporters lose all their faith
That tossed the deficit into the wind
That caused Pat Robertson to start praying again
That started the flood, and then, Rhenquist died
That made the future uncertain at best, in The House That We Built

This is the maelstrom that mayn't be undone
That is in the heart of the Republican's own
That bankruptcy or providence mightn't restore, because of the new laws implemented and sworn
That the rest of the country must certainly bear
That humanitarian interests will mostly fill out
Because of the lack of the men at the top
That refused or recused themselves from the start
That became, the lot of them, Liars and Despots
That was all about business contracts to friends
That were selling and profiting off -
The House That WE, THE PEOPLE, BUILT!

Iraq - The War on Error:

How Many Errors Will Make this War on (t)Error Right? Two errors don't make a right. Four, or five errors definitely don't make this war right. No WMD's; No open arm welcome from the Iraqis; The war was not over quickly (it lingers on as insurgency;) The cost is exorbitant; The Iraqi economy has not improved via oil money; The Iraqis are not learning to protect themselves quickly and easily. I'm thinking that there are too many errors in this war on terror for its continued acceptance by the American people, or even the world. How many lives shall we sacrifice? I know I wouldn't think about sending my son to fight this cause. It wasn't really a war on terror; It was just another item on the Bush agenda. But since we already won the war in Afghanistan, and captured Osama.... Oh, wait! We haven't done those things yet. Whatever happened to that war anyway? Maybe it just went away? Maybe Osama retired, and gave up the reigns to Zarqawi? Since we just killed him, that must mean that the War on (t)Error is done, right? Wrong! The real war on terror got hijacked by the war in Iraq. I wonder when we will get back to the real war on terror?

Dubya - A Perspective:

George W. Bush: An Army of None? His military record will always be in question. We still haven't heard all the answers regarding where he was, or what he was doing during this time. The public record shows that he still got paychecks. So, something must have been going on. Maybe it was just one of Junior's little scandals, in which Daddy helped him out. Something on the line of: "OK, yeah, I snorted 'blow' off a hooker's belly, but she wasn't dead, yet."

The Enron scandal. It has not even been fully prosecuted; But it's still live-ammo! Kenneth Lay (previous chairman of Enron) sat on Bush's energy transition team, and attended an economic summit. Enron was one of 5 companies that contributed to the West Coast's energy crisis of 2000. And, finally, some of the executives are getting tried for their book-cooking schemes. But they won't ever really repay what they've stolen from so many investors, so many retirement accounts.

The post 9/11 economic slump. Most everything about the war on terror is about money. More money for military. Government awarded contracts for the rebuilding of the Middle East. We've taken a balanced budget, and have turned it into an unwieldy deficit. And it seems like at this same time, we started seeing all these federal surcharges on everything, from our phone to our ISP bill. I want to know how this happened. I have no data, so can only conjecture. It could be coincidental with the Democrats playing jelly-fish, just after 9/11.

Money for training of Homeland Security. You may have seen the idiocy of this in Seattle, and other big cities, in the news. Millions of dollars were spent on training, for that which cannot be choreographed. Panic is Panic is Panic! No amount of planning can prepare for anything on the scale of 9/11. And yet, the government had 4 years to assimilate this information, to formulate a plan. But they choose, instead, to incite fear: terrorist attacks in Iowa, or N.Dakota; I was afraid that a bomb might be dropped on my house, because of the fear that was so prevalent at the time; Or, maybe a jet would crash into my local bar. That was how much the fear card was played. To the point that I was also afraid of frequenting libraries (because terrorists hang out in libraries, right?) But where did the money go? Apparently not on security, as an Act of God (Katrina) has recently shown.

The war on terror. All the money spent on military. What is it now, $120 billion? And Congress approved up to $200 billion? I understand we need a strong military force. But shouldn't we focus on the real war on terror? Again, in reading the 9/11 Report (p.66), it is clear that Hussein and Bin Laden only briefly had contact. Hussein was never an Islamic extremist. He had more interest in self-preservation. A full resolution to the war on terror is something which will require an education of the masses, and a resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

I suggest: a peace summit for all of the Middle East, Arabic, Islamic governments, as well as the US, and the UN. We need to work toward peace for all. I wish that all theists (all people who believe in god), would come to the realization that they all believe in the same holy entity: God (be it YHWH, or Allah); Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob: These prophets/saints/fathers are common to all these religions. I don't even believe in god!!! All I can do is hope that these religious differences will eventually succumb to rational thought. I think that most god fearing people will agree that acceptance & diversity is better than hatred, and Love is preferable to close-minded fundamentalism.
